Almond Blossom Festival
It is repeated every year in early March and lasts about a week. Numerous folk groups arrive in Agrigento from all over the world to take part. The most important event of the festival occurs during the closing, when the folk groups parade with Sicilian carts and marching bands from the city to the Valley of the Temples.
Agrigento culture capital 2025
Agrigento has been proclaimed the Italian Capital of Culture for 2025. As often happens, the city awarded this prestigious title will have a year full of events that will make it an attractive destination for Italian and foreign tourists. Agrigento already is: its cultural, artistic and gastronomic offerings have made it a popular location, but this new project will be a wonderful opportunity for growth.
Symposium of the Gods
In the heart of the Valley of the Temples in Agrigento, the world's largest archaeological park. Telamon Award
The International Review "Telamone Prize," established more than forty years ago by the Agrigento-Ce. Social Action Planning Center, is one of the main international awards given annually to Sicilians engaged in entrepreneurship, research, social work, politics, culture, and art, who contribute through their actions to a positive and talented vision of the land of Sicily.
